The Lemon Cove Women's Club was founded in April 1924 by Nora Alice Pogue Montgomery, and its first community service project was to serve milk to school children, which it did for more than 40 years. Today, its purpose is to promote community welfare, to further civic and cultural opportunities, and to support the historic preservation of the Pogue Hotel.
The museum has received major updates, a new layout and a lot of added historical information! Come see the changes during a Women's Club meeting or our next open house in the Fall.
